Kathryn Newton set to return to ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ after ‘Quantumania’

Kathryn Newton is gearing up to return to Marvel Cinematic Universe with her role in Avengers: Doomsday.

Following her role in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania as Cassie Lang, the actress is ready to reprise the role in the upcoming highly anticipated film.

Taking to her Instagram account, Ready or Not 2: Here I Come star, shared a mini director’s chair with her name, a nod to the way the studio confirmed the actors participating in the ensemble superhero movie.

“And it’s tiny because Cassie Lang gets tiny,” Newton said in the video. “She’s small, but sometimes she’s big. It depends what’s happening.”

Cassie will join her father, Scott Lang, in Avengers: Doomsday, with Paul Rudd reprising his role.

So far the confirmed cast includes the original Avengers, Black Panther, Captain America: Brave New World, Thunderbolts*/New Avengers, The Fantastic Four, and the original X-Men.

Avengers: Doomsday will be released on December 18.
