Prince William is reportedly urging King Charles to finally cut off Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson from royal life after fresh scandal erupted this week.

The Duchess of York, 65, faced a storm of backlash after it was revealed she once emailed convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein in 2011, calling him her “supreme friend” and apologising for publicly criticising him.

Her spokesperson has since claimed the email was only sent to avoid a potential lawsuit from Epstein.

But the revelation has reopened wounds inside the Firm. According to The Daily Mail, William, 43, is pressing his father to banish Andrew and Fergie entirely.

“William feels even more strongly than the King that Andrew and Fergie are an embarrassment and will be urging his father to act,” a royal source claimed.

“The optics of that pair of chancers guffawing away [at events] look terrible.”

The King, however, is said to be hesitant. Charles, 76, reportedly does not want to sever ties with his brother and ex-sister-in-law, following the late Queen’s approach of tolerance for the sake of family unity.
