Sydney Sweeney set for unexpected Bollywood collaboration

Sydney Sweeney, who is no stranger to making headlines, has once again found herself in the spotlight.

The 28-year-old Hollywood star could be trading the glamour of LA for the glitz of Bollywood after landing a staggering £45million offer.

The blonde beauty, who shot to fame in 2019 with HBO’s hit teen drama Euphoria, has reportedly been approached by a major Indian production house with a deal worth £35million, plus an additional £10million in sponsorships.

Producers are banking on Sydney’s star power to launch the movie on the global stage, with filming expected to begin in 2026 across New York, Paris, London and Dubai.

Insiders claim the actress was “stunned” by the proposal but is seriously considering it.

“£45million is staggering, but more than that, the project could boost her worldwide profile,” a source told The Sun.

The lucrative offer comes as the Madame Web actress Hollywood standing appears shaky.

In recent months, she has faced fierce backlash, from criticism of her American Eagle denim campaign, which some branded “Nazi propaganda,” to outrage over her Republican Party ties.

Notably, her last two films, Eden and Americana, flopped at the box office, but critics praised her powerhouse turn as boxing legend Christy Martin in the Toronto-premiered biopic Christy.
