The biopic featuring Sydney Sweeney as an American boxer is out and netizens are sharing their reviews on social media.

On September 11, the trailer of the movie Cristy was released on Youtube.

The movie is based on the life of American boxer Christy Martin and her struggles inside the ring and outside the ring regarding her family, identity, and relationship.

After the trailer was released, netizens took it to social media to state their opinions on the upcoming movie.

One netizen wrote with disappointment, “Worse than I expected, she had only one blank expression on her face 80% of the trailer lol”.

“I don’t see Sydney wearing any jeans! Doesn’t she have GOOD jeans?!” Another netizen said sarcastically as the 28-year-old’s infamous ad with American Eagle received backlash for her eugenic comment.

On the other hand, the admirers of the star of Euphoria also gathered and supported her.

One fan wrote, “Sydney’s cool as fuck. Lots of respect for that lady.”

Another supporter commented, “I genuinely think this is going to be her best role to date. She is showing her range in acting. Excited to see what she can really do!”.
