Asha Bhosle faces tragic death after shocking health problems

Asha Bhosle, known for her chart-topping hit tracks, has left behind a legacy after facing a sudden and tragic death on April 11, 2026.

The sad passing of the legend was confirmed by her son and Breach Candy Hospital doctors, who also revealed the cause of her death.

According to Dr. Pratit Samdani, the singer passed away after suffering from "multiple organ failures" which came after a "heart attack."

Prior to this, she was rushed to hospital after “extreme exhaustion and a chest infection” in Mumbai. 

Anand Bhosle has invited everyone to her residence who wish to pay respects.

Her last rituals are scheduled to take place at Shivaji Park at 4 p.m. (IST) which is 3:30 a.m. (PDT).

Asha’s death marks an end to her eight decade-long career in Bollywood, during which she contributed to the music industry and defined a generation.

Soon after the news was shared, tributes for the late musician began to pour in with one X user calling her a “true legend” for lending her voice to “over 12,000 songs” in several language.

Another netizen was of the opinion that this is an “end of an era rest in peace,” while a third noted that her “timeless voice will live on forever.”
