Anya Taylor-Joy, Chris Evans reveal fascination with life-threatening thing

Anya-Taylor Joy and Chris Evans have already revealed that the location for the shooting of their upcoming action adventure comedy Sacrifice included an eccentric active volcano, but now they are opening up about how it felt.

The duo attended the Toronto International Film Festival for the film, and talked about the incredibleness of the Santorini, Greece view.

“You’re just looking around at the majesty of the world, it’s easy to completely lose yourself, as you would if there weren’t a film crew capturing your every move,” the Materialists actor stated, as per Variety.

Meanwhile The Queen’s Gambit star emphasised the impact the script had on her, especially after she had started thinking more and more about issues like climate change and the planet, which is one of the themes in the new film.

“I was becoming a real bummer at parties, and the script came by and I realized, like, ‘Oh, this is what you do with big feelings. You go away and you make art about it.’ Even though it might not change the outcome of what’s bothering you, it allows you a different way of releasing it,” Anya revealed.

Notably, the Golden Globe winner highlighted that being close to the feat of nature actually helped her and made her feel more peaceful and grounded.

What is the plot of ‘Sacrifice’?

Sacrifice centers around a film star (played by Chris) going through an existential crisis when he encounters a cult-leader (played by Anya) who wishes to sacrifice him to fulfill a prophecy that will prevent a volcano from erupting.
