Jason Biggs sat down to promote his new series Dinner and a Movie where he discussed the possibility of an American Pie 5 return.
His former costar Thomas Ian Nicholas previously said at Comic Con that "they were negotiating for American Pie 5", however, they "didn't come to terms on negotiation."
Speaking to People, Biggs remarked, "It's tricky. I've heard various reasons for the holdup, and the most realistic of which is just that there are a lot of people that you have to get on board. Behind the scenes, as well. Especially behind the scenes."
"But look, it'd be fun. I would love to do it. I know a lot of us would love to," the actor added.
He continued, "And yes, I know there's already some ideas kicking around. I have some, everyone sort of has some ideas, I think. And, I'd love to. Nostalgia is big right now, and Universal [Pictures is] killing it right now. I think, hey, they're sitting on this property. Let's go."
The cast are far from being separated though, as Biggs reunited with former co-stars Alyson Hannigan, Mena Suvari, Chris Klein and Shannon Elizabeth for his new TBS series, Dinner and a Movie.
