Pete Davidson makes 'Shark Tank' debut

As if 2025 couldn’t get more unexpected celebrity updates, Pete Davidson has now gone viral for rallying up behind his venture.

The comedian appeared in a preview of the 17th season of the highly popular show, Shark Tank, which has the premise of entrepreneurs from all over America pitching novel business idea and asking “sharks” or investors for funding.

In the teaser, the Saturday Night Live alum appears alongside his DoubleSoul ( a sock brand) partner Ben Rosenbaum and gets straight into the pitch after introductions.

“Hi, I'm Pete, and we are seeking 500 grand for 4% for our company, DoubleSoul,” the brand’s creative director tells the sharks.

Pete then explained his journey with the brand by stating “I get sent a lot of crap, and I usually give it to my cousins, I got sent DoubleSoul [socks] a couple years ago, and I had to meet the team, and I wanted to be involved immediately.”

Meanwhile Ben sells the socks by noting that they weren’t novelty or made for athletic purposes, but were a blend of the two and the resulting product is the perfect everyday sock.

Who were the Sharks?

The judges, who can either splurge on the product or reject it are Robert Herjavec, Lori Greiner and Kevin O’Leary as well as guest inverstors Rashaun Williams and Kendra Scott.
