Sadie Sink secret role in 'Spider-Man' is not Jean Grey?

Sadie Sink was announced to be joining the Marvel universe after she wrapped up her significant role in Netflix’s Stranger Things.

The 24-year-old actress and the creators of the new project have kept her role in the upcoming Spider-Man a complete secret.

However, eagle-eyed fans connected the dots and were seemingly able to determine who the young star is playing as Tom Holland returns as Peter Parker.

While the credits do not mention her part in the project, the newly released trailer revealed Jean Green in a hoodie while destruction is evident across the place.

After the part of the trailer went viral, a fan expressed their opinion that her “abilities are gonna be insane.”

Another netizen speculated that the actress is going to be a “mutant, and we know mutants are really rare in Marvel. She probably through a lot, and Frank helped her.”

Although the fan theories point towards Sadie’s introduction as Jean Grey, comic fans are divided over the theory and believe she might be mind-controlled in the story.

On the other hand, admirers are hoping Zendaya, who plays MJ, turns in to Black Cat due to her ongoing investigation on Spider-Man.

When is Brand New Day coming out?

The Brand New Day is slated for release on July 31, 2026, coming out nearly five years after No Way Home premiered.
