Prince William, Prince Harry's cousin launches acting career with short film

Princess Diana’s nephew Louis Spencer is stepping into the spotlight, with a brand-new stage name. 

The 31-year-old son of Charles, Earl Spencer (and cousin to Prince William and Prince Harry) will act as “Louis Lyons” in the upcoming short film Pinch and Ouch.

Lyons plays Sam in the project from MoodDreams Productions, filmed in Wimbledon. 

A first-look trailer, shared via @mooddreamsproductions on Instagram, teases tense pandemic-era drama: “In the midst of the global pandemic, a girl’s dream to train with a legendary acting coach before it’s too late takes an unexpected turn.” 

The short is rated 18+; a release date is TBC.

Louis, younger brother to Lady Kitty, Lady Eliza, and Lady Amelia Spencer, has largely kept a low profile despite being dubbed one of Tatler’s “most eligible bachelors” in 2019. 

Away from the cameras, he’s also the heir to Althorp, the Spencer family’s historic Northamptonshire estate where Princess Diana grew up.

The name switch to Louis Lyons signals a fresh, professional chapter as he makes his on-screen debut, and it’s already generating buzz.
