Prince Harry may extend an olive branch, but don’t expect a royal family reunion at the 2027 Invictus Games in Birmingham.

A royal expert claims Prince William and Kate Middleton are “unlikely” to accept any invitation from the Duke of Sussex, despite reports that Harry, 40, agreed to invite senior royals to the multi-sport event he founded in 2014 for wounded, injured and sick service personnel and veterans.

While the Games are still under two years away, insiders don’t see the brothers’ estrangement thawing anytime soon.

William and Harry’s relationship has remained frosty amid years of tensions, and the expert suggests nothing on the horizon indicates a shift that would bring the Prince and Princess of Wales to the stands.

The Invictus Games have grown into a global platform for recovery and resilience, and Birmingham’s turn as host was hailed as a major win for the UK.

Whether any royal relatives ultimately appear remains an open question — but the current mood music points to no Wales cameo.

Buckingham Palace and Kensington Palace have not commented on attendance plans.

For now, it looks like the Invictus spotlight will remain firmly on Harry and the competitors he champions.
