Prince William, Kate Middleton find forever home in massive 8-bedroom Forest Lodge

Prince William and Kate Middleton are reportedly preparing to upgrade their family base, and it’s a big one.

According to an insider, the Prince and Princess of Wales plan to move into Forest Lodge, an eight-bedroom residence tucked inside Windsor Great Park, by the end of the year.

The move would mark a significant step up from Adelaide Cottage, where the couple currently live with Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. Sources say the Wales family view Forest Lodge as their “forever home” and a chance at a “fresh start” in Windsor, offering more space and privacy as their three children grow.

While details remain under wraps, the reported timeline suggests the relocation could happen before year’s end, setting the scene for a new chapter for the future king and queen.

The larger footprint of Forest Lodge is said to be a major draw, giving the family room to host relatives, work from home, and enjoy the surrounding greenery of the historic royal park.

Neither Kensington Palace nor the Crown Estate has publicly commented on the reported move, but royal watchers are already buzzing: if confirmed, Forest Lodge would cement the Waleses’ long-term roots in Windsor.
