Meghan Markle’s new With Love, Meghan trailer has ignited an online backlash — and the flashpoint is guest Chrissy Teigen.
Season 2 lands on Netflix August 26 with a starry roster including Tan France, Jay Shetty and Radhi Devlukia, chefs Samin Nosrat, Clare Smyth, Christina Tosi, José Andrés and David Chang, plus Meghan’s longtime friends Jamie Kern Lima, Heather Dorak and Daniel Martin.
But the trailer’s Teigen cameo drew immediate heat, with commenters urging Netflix to pull her episode over her past online controversies.
One YouTube user wrote: “Netflix should cancel the episode with Chrissy Teigen as she is the ultimate cyber bully.”
Another added: “If she’s trying to fix her branding - inviting Chrissy Teigen was a terrible casting decision!” Feminist outlet Jezebel also blasted the booking, calling Teigen “one of the internet’s most prolific bullies.”
Neither Meghan nor Netflix has commented on the criticism.
The Duchess has not publicly addressed Teigen’s inclusion; Teigen has previously faced scrutiny for historic online behavior involving Courtney Stodden.
With a stacked guest list and glossy Montecito backdrop, With Love, Meghan is positioned as warm, crafty, and celeb-filled, but the Teigen pushback risks overshadowing the rollout.
