Chrissy Teigen says backlash against Meghan Markle 'baffles' her

Chrissy Teigen is setting the record straight about what Meghan Markle is actually like behind the scenes, and why she can’t understand the controversy that surrounds her.

The 39-year-old model, who appeared in Season 2 of Meghan’s Netflix show With Love, Meghan, spoke candidly about her friend during an event over the weekend.

“I really adore her,” Chrissy told People. “I think she is so incredibly strong.”

“It’s insane to me how polarizing she is when she really is just such a kind, good person who wants the best for her friends, her relationship, and her children,” she said.

“People come up with all these stories about her, but it’s not that complicated. I think it’s cool that she’s like, ‘Say whatever you want — I’m happy, I’m healthy, I feel good.’”

Chrissy appeared in one of the second-season episodes of With Love, Meghan, where she and the Duchess shared laughs while making custom jewellery featuring flowers that symbolized their children’s birth months.
