Meghan Markle is reportedly “feeling lost” after her much-hyped lifestyle venture As Ever failed to deliver the success she’d envisioned, according to insiders.

The Duchess of Sussex, 44, launched the brand earlier this year following months of teasing it with hand-labeled jam jars sent to friends and influencers.

A friend close to the Duchess told the Daily Mail: “At the moment, she is literally lost because the whole jam-making business did not work out in the way she thought it would.”

“Nobody has seen any figures, but I don’t think they are that good.”

The Mail also reported that Netflix, which partnered with Meghan on the brand, has significant control over its operations and profits, a claim the Duchess disputes.

In a recent Bloomberg interview, Meghan confirmed Netflix is her “only partner and investor,” insisting she wants As Ever to feel “authentic” and not “cookie-cutter.”

One insider claimed bluntly, per Express: “She just wants to make money, she wants to be a billionaire. The trouble is, she doesn’t know how.”
