Prince Andrew breaks cover at Windsor in first public appearance amid royal turmoil

Prince Andrew has resurfaced following explosive allegations in Andrew Lownie’s upcoming biography, Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the Yorks

The Duke of York, 65, was photographed driving his Defender on the Windsor Estate en route to Windsor Castle for an afternoon walk, his first public sighting since the claims hit headlines.

Speaking to The Mirror, body language expert Jennie Bond said Andrew’s look suggested a notable shift.

“It’s less about what has changed and more about what’s missing,” she noted, adding his “rounded-eyed, haunted expression” appeared to have softened, with “no obvious signs of muscle tension” and fewer cues of “status and entitlement,” hinting at a more reflective mood.

Lownie’s book delves into Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s private lives, alleging rampant infidelity, secretive money dealings and controversial friendships, including the duke’s links to Jeffrey Epstein.

Andrew has long and vehemently denied allegations connected to scandals; he previously reached an out-of-court settlement with the late Virginia Giuffre without admitting liability.

The book also claims Andrew and Prince Harry had a physical altercation in 2013.

A spokesperson for the Sussexes flatly denied it: “Prince Harry and Prince Andrew have never had a physical fight, nor did Prince Andrew ever make the comments he is alleged to have made about the Duchess of Sussex to Prince Harry.”

Amid the furor, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie are reportedly keeping their distance as the fallout continues.
