Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are facing harsh criticism from insiders who claim the couple’s recent media appearances are “chaotic” and “directionless.”
The Sussexes made a joint appearance in New York City on October 10 for World Mental Health Day, followed by Meghan’s solo on-stage interview at Fortune’s Most Powerful Women Summit in Washington, DC just days later.
Speaking to the Mail, a source said Meghan’s PR team is “putting her out there without a plan,” adding: “They think every media opportunity is a good one — and that’s insane.”
Another insider described the couple’s public approach as “thoughtless,” saying, “One day she’s at Paris Fashion Week, the next she’s talking business in D.C., but there’s no real strategy. It’s a mess.”
The source also alleged that the Sussexes are “throwing spaghetti at the wall and seeing what sticks,” suggesting that Meghan’s recent appearances lacked a clear purpose or upcoming project.
