Kelly Mack, who gained widespread recognition for portraying the character Addy on show The Walking Dead, has passed away at the age of 33.

According to the obituary shared by her sister, the actress died in Cincinnati, Ohio, after fighting from a longstanding battle with a rare type of cancer on Saturday, August 2.

On Wednesday, August 6, her sister Kathryn released a statement through the film producer's Instagram account, that reads, "It is with indelible sadness that we are announcing the passing of our dear Kelley."

She also mentioned that, Kelly whose real name was Kelley Lynne Klebenow died “peacefully” in the presence of her mother Kristen and aunt Karen.

Furthermore, she concluded her memorial, saying, "As her sister, I want you all to know how brave that tough SOB was, especially when she decided to make the leap to be reunited with God. I’m so f--king proud of her."

As reported by Deadline, the 9-1-1 star breathed her last after struggling with diffuse midline glioma of the central nervous system. 

However, her beloved fans took to the comments section of the post to share their emotional condolences.

One person penned, "Such an extremely talented and kind person. RIP Kelley you'll be missed."

"Heartbroken. She was such an amazing light wherever she went," another netizen chimed in.

A third admirer added, "Oh my gosh this is heartbreaking." 

When was Kelly Mack diagnosed with cancer?

Notably, in January, Late actress Kelly Mack revealed on her social media account that she was diagnosed with rare form of cancer, called diffuse midline glioma in September, 2024.
