Selena Gomez sparked reactions from fans after she shared a picture of Jennifer Stone having lunch at her place.
The surprise guest left netizens speculating that the former co-stars might have a cameo together on Wizards Beyond Waverly Place.
In 2024, Gomez reprised her role as Alex Russo in the first season of the sequel, though she only appeared as a guest star in the first and last episodes.
However, Stone has yet to be confirmed for the reboot. Internet sleuths suggest that the photo may hint at a potential cameo of the former co-stars.
On August 7, the 33-year-old singer posted a carousel on her Instagram page that gave fans an insight into her private life.
She captioned the photos, “good times, good food, good people.”
Aside from Stone, the snaps featured her fiancé, Benny Blanco, and younger sister, Gracie.
The post garnered attention from Gomez’s co-star David Henrie, who pointed out a photo of himself on her TV, “I remember that zit…. Very well.”
Notably, Henrie reprised his role as Justin Russo as the main character in the Disney Channel sequel, with many of his former on-screen family members making guest appearances.
For the unversed, in 2019, Jennifer Stone became a nurse after being diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. She has admitted she balances both her passions in healthcare and acting.
