Travis Scott, who is known for his hit raps, made an acting debut in The Odyssey alongside Tom Holland, Zendaya, Anne Hathaway and others.
The 35-year-old singer gushed about being part of the Greek universe that explores the times after the Trojan War.
When asked about the opportunity to appear on the big screen, the SICKO MODE crooner admitted the experience is “crazy” for him and it “means everything.”
Turning to others, the rapper insisted that he worked with an “amazing cast” for the movie.
As Travis plays The Brad in the Christopher Nolan’s film, he shared a hint about his role during the interview with ET: “I’m just a guest in their world.”
The musician described his preparedness to watch the final cut as the film gets its world premiere in London.
The Odyssey landed in hot waters after it was called out for the diverse casting choice. The online community and die-hard fans of the director were disappointed to see no Greeks in the cast.
Elliot Page, Zendaya, Matt Damon, Tom, Anne, Travis, Charlize Theron, Benny Safdie, Mia Goth, Jon Bernthal, Himesh Patel, Ryan Hurst, James Remar and others are featured in the new mythology.
According to Tom Shone, “Christopher Nolan makes films in which the left can find endorsement as easily as the right, and frequently at the same time.”
The Odyssey, which is produced by Christopher and Emma Thomas, has a whooping budget of $250 million and is projected to open with over $80 million in North America.
Despite all the backlash, the project is expected to hit the theatres on July 17, 2026 worldwide.
