KPop Demon Hunters, which uniquely blends pop culture and fantasy, has topped charts weeks after its release.

The movie was made available on Netflix for streaming on June 20, 2025 and it instantly connected with the viewers.

The musical has officially made it to the top 5 most watched films of all time on the platform as it garnered around 158.8 million views.

With its growing popularity around the world, the animation now stands among four most-streamed movies globally.

It is to be noted that KPop Demon Hunters can further climb up on the global list which is based on streams of each title in the first 91 days of debut.

On the streaming giant, it is followed by three other projects Red Notice, Carry-On and Don’t Look Up.

Is KPop Demon Hunters’ music good?

On the other hand, the musical fantasy’s track Golden is currently placed in top 2 on Billboard Hot 100.

Soon after its release, the movie became a fan-favourite as it captured attention globally. Many viewers took to X (Twitter) to appreciate the project and request a sequel.

One of the users admitted that his family has “already watched it 3 times” as it has “got so much heart and the creative talent is overflowing.”

Another netizen shared that “Golden” is their favourite track from the movie followed by “This is what it sounds like.”

A parent revealed: “My daughter loves all the music in this movie.”

The project’s success was seemingly made possible due to its extraordinary visuals and groovy tracks. The creativity of the story has the audience hooked, who now demand a sequel as well.
