Nicole Coughlan recently shares new update about her role in upcoming fifth season of Bridgerton.
The actress, who rose to fame with her character as Penelope Featherington in first four seasons of Netflix series, reveals she “won’t be in it very much”, as the new season begins filming in March.
While addressing her presence in the fifth season, Nicola says, “Season five has started filming already, so I won’t be in it very much”.
“But I'm always happy to come back,” mentions the 39-year-old on Dish podcast.
The Derry Girls actress points out that she’s all good for now because she often comes in for a few days.
However, other cast members and Bridgerton team are “working super, super hard and I’m just like coming back”.
Nicola adds, “It’s lovely.”
In addition to Bridgerton, the actress starred alongside Andrew Garfield and Claire Foy in a well-received film adaptation of Enid Blyton’s The Magic Faraway Tree, and even hosted an episode of Saturday Night Live UK.
For those unversed, the fifth season of Bridgerton is likely to focus on Francesca (Hannah Dodd) and Michaela (Masali Baduza).
