English rock vocalist Terry Reid went to eternal rest at the age of 75
Terry Reid, who rose to fame due to his soulful voice breathed his last at the age of 75.
Last month, the British musician had postponed his upcoming tour of the UK, Ireland and Norway due to his cancer treatment.
On Tuesday, August 5, the departed soul’s record label, Cleopatra Records, confirmed the news of his death on their official Instagram account.
The music label captioned the obituary, with the text, that read, “We are deeply saddened by the passing of our friend and collaborator Terry Reid."
“Terry wasn’t just a legend—he was a true original. His voice had that rare magic that could shake a room or break your heart in a single note. But beyond the voice, Terry was warm, funny, and utterly himself—always. ,” the homage continued.
Furthermore, the memorial stated, working with the guitarist was not only a matter of business, instead it was a blend of beautiful "pleasure and a lesson".
Notably, Reid’s songs didn’t get an opportunity to be featured in the top UK charts, but his records, such as the 1973 album River, was widely acclaimed by top musicians.
