Orlando Bloom landed himself in hot water once again, sparking a wave of online criticism.
The 48-year-old actor, reportedly going through a quiet split from Katy Perry, faced backlash after sharing a photo of his young daughter, Daisy Dove, without clothes.
Furthermore, the post appeared briefly on Instagram as part of a family carousel.
Bloom later deleted it and uploaded a censored version, this time with a yellow heart emoji covering her body.
For the unversed, he shares the four-year-old with the Roar singer.
However, many were quick to question his judgement, especially given the couple’s usual efforts to keep their daughter out of the public eye.
Critics warned that such images could be misused and stressed that public figures must protect their children’s privacy online.
On Reddit, one user remarked, “They don’t even show her face normally – then this? It doesn’t add up.”
Another added, “Surely someone on his team could have flagged this before it went live. It’s a worrying oversight.”
“Having famous parents must be overwhelming. Children deserve better judgment from the adults around them,” a third wrote.
Despite the backlash, some jumped to the actor’s defence.
“It was an innocent moment between a dad and his daughter,” one supporter wrote.
“People are reading too much into it.” Another added, “There was clearly no malice. Just a proud parent sharing a memory.”
Notably, the Troy actor has not addressed the situation publicly.
