Seth Rogen, Rose Byrne want to reunite with THIS ‘Neighbours’ cast mate

Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne attended the season 2 premier of their AppleTV+ series, Platonic, where they revealed which former cast mate of theirs they’d like to reunite with on the show.

Having worked together on the film Neighbours with Zac Efron, Byrne said, “I don’t understand why that hasn’t come to fruition yet. Now, I have it in my head that’s what we need to do.”

At the Hammer Museum in Los Angeles, Rogen chimed in, “We need to get Ike [Barinholtz], and Zac in Platonic. That’d be great.”

Francesca Delbanco, cocreator of Platonic alongside Nicholas Stoller, expressed her agreement as well, “It would be amazing stunt casting if we get [another] season and if he would do it. It would be so funny.”

About the second season of the series, Rogen recalled, “As we were shooting the first season, I was kind of pushing for [creators Nicholas Stoller and Francesca Delbanco] to brainstorm how it could continue and how to not replace us with other people, and thank god they listened.”

When asked about his chemistry with his costar, he claimed, “In film, chemistry is a mysterious thing.”
