King Charles sends message to 'all dads everywhere' amid Prince Harry feud

King Charles is cherishing family this Father’s Day as his relationship with Prince Harry remains strained.

On Sunday, June 15, the Royal Family’s official Instagram shared two touching throwbacks. The first was a black-white shot of a young Charles and Princess Anne on a swing with their father, Prince Philip. The second was a wedding photo of Queen Camilla and her late father, Major Bruce Shand.

“To all Dads everywhere, we wish you a happy Father’s Day today,” read the caption to the post, which Prince William and Princess Kate "liked."

The King’s touching tribute comes as tensions with his youngest son Prince Harry — who is now a dad of two himself — remain unresolved.

Just a day earlier, Harry and Meghan were notably absent from Trooping the Colour, having not received invitations. The Sussexes’ royal split in 2020 and their move to California marked the beginning of a highly public rift, one that has only deepened over the years.

Harry addressed the tensions head-on in a recent BBC interview.

“I would love reconciliation with my family,” he said. “There’s no point in continuing to fight anymore. Life is precious. I don’t know how much longer my father has.”

Referencing King Charles’ cancer diagnosis, Harry also said the lack of communication stems from his battle to regain police protection in the UK.

“He won’t speak to me because of this security stuff,” Harry added. “But it would be nice to reconcile.”

Still, the Duke admitted he “can’t see a world” where he returns to the UK with Meghan and their children without guaranteed security.
