Meghan Markle says 'thank you' on sweet birthday wishes

Meghan Markle penned a sweet note after she received love and support on her 44th birthday.

On August 4, the Duchess of Sussex marked her big day with her husband, Prince Harry and two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, in Montecito.

To make Meghan's milestone special, her close friends shared heartfelt messages on social media alongside rare photos of the former working royal.

Notably, the Duchess' Suits co-star and pal, Abigail Spencer, released lovely pictures featuring the two beaming besties.

She wrote, "As glorious as the day I met you. Champagne in human form. A creature unlike any other. Thank you for being a sister in this life, and beyond."

The actress added, "Words can’t capture. From the rooftops. So grateful for your life, @meghan. Thanks for saving mine. Love, Abs. 44/4. 8/4/81."

In response, Meghan expressed her gratitude and also wished her birthday twin, Abigail.

Prince Harry's wife wrote, "Thank you, sweet Abs! Right back at you, and happy birthday to YOU! 44/4."

Another friend of Meghan and a social worker, Kelly McKee Zajfen, shared a lovely black and white image of the two enjoying each other's company.

The co-founder of Alliance of Moms wrote, "Happy Birthday to you, sweet M!! You’re pure magic!! A force of fun, light, and so much love."

She added, "Thank you for being the kind of friend who makes everything better (and way more fun). Here’s to the best trip around the sun yet! (This captures us perfectly! ) Love you so very much!"

The Duchess of Sussex dropped heart emojis in the comments section, making her social media presence felt.
