Meghan Markle loses one more friend as list of enemies grows

Looks like Meghan Markle may have lost yet another high-profile friend, this time, fashion royalty Edward Enninful.

The Duchess of Sussex, 43, and the former British Vogue editor were once thick as thieves, especially after Meghan guest-edited the magazine’s 2019 Forces for Change issue. 

At the time, Meghan called Edward one of her “like-minded thinkers.” 

Fast forward to now, and reports say the friendship is over, and it all comes down to a story that didn’t go her way.

According to The Mail on Sunday, the pair had a major fallout after Enninful allegedly planned a feature on Meghan and Prince Harry’s charity work that didn’t sit right with her. 

The report suggests Meghan was unhappy with the direction of the piece, and things quickly soured.

Royal expert Hugo Vickers told The Sun: “None of this surprises me at all… when things don’t go her way, she just overreacts.”

Vickers didn’t hold back, painting a broader pattern of what he claims is Meghan’s “main fault” when it comes to friendships and working relationships. 

“She’s very demanding. She’s difficult to work with. She has her ideas of what she wants to do, and she doesn’t seem to want to listen to anybody else,” he said.

“Clearly in this case with Edward Enninful, she’s made something of an enemy. He dropped her from something she would have liked to be part of and this seems to happen a lot,” Vickers added.

“There’s a theme here. She’s fallen out with or rejected so many people—her father, her ex-husband, former close friend Jessica Mulroney, and of course, the entire Royal Family except her mother.”

“She should have listened to someone like Edward. He’s a highly qualified editor, he knows what he’s doing. I would’ve thought it would’ve been in her best interest to keep in with him.”
