Prince William makes charming confession about Kate Middleton's tennis skills

Prince William has made a charming confession about his wife Kate Middleton, and it’s all to do with tennis. 

Despite their famously competitive streaks, the Prince of Wales revealed he can never win against Kate on the court.

Australian tennis legend Rod Laver shared the moment with the Daily Mail, recalling a chat in the Wimbledon Royal Box. 

“They play tennis against each other. William told me he couldn’t beat her,” Laver said.

The Princess of Wales herself confirmed their playful rivalry on Mike Tindall’s podcast The Good, The Bad and The Rugby, joking: “I'm really not that competitive... I don't know where this has come from.” 

She also revealed she’s never finished a game with William, adding: “It becomes a mental challenge between the two of us.”

The royal couple’s love for sports has been passed down to their children. 

Prince George even received a tennis lesson from Roger Federer in 2019, arranged by Kate herself, a friend of the tennis star.

While George and Charlotte have joined their parents at Wimbledon, young Prince Louis has yet to make his debut.
