Beckhams worried over Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's 'influence' over Brooklyn

David and Victoria Beckham are reportedly feeling blindsided after learning their son Brooklyn Beckham and wife Nicola Peltz recently mingled with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
As originally reported by The Sun, the surprise came after Brooklyn, 26, and Nicola, 30, attended a Montecito dinner party where the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were also present.
While it was initially claimed Harry and Meghan hosted the gathering, The Daily Mail later clarified it was actually a larger soirée organized by Paramount CEO Brian Robbins and his wife Tracy.
Over 20 guests attended, and while Harry and Meghan were present, they reportedly exchanged only brief pleasantries with Brooklyn and Nicola.
Still, the Beckhams are said to be uncomfortable with the idea of any rekindled ties between their son and the Sussexes.
“David and Victoria were blindsided by the news, they didn’t see it coming,” a source told The Sun.
“Of course it’s a bit weird for them as they used to socialise with Meghan and Harry, and now their boy is doing it.”
The insider added that the couple’s biggest fear is that Meghan could influence Brooklyn to further distance himself from the Beckham family.
“The last thing they need is for her to be pouring bile into Brooklyn’s ear, telling him to cast his parents out, as she has done with her own dad,” the source claimed.
Why did Harry and Meghan fall out with Beckhams?
The gathering also reignited interest in Harry and Meghan’s previous falling out with David and Victoria Beckham, despite the Beckhams attending the Sussexes' 2018 royal wedding.
Meghan allegedly suspected Victoria of leaking private stories to the press, which strained relations between the two power couples.
