Colleen Hoover seemingly turned a deaf ear to the months-long dispute surrounding It Ends with Us co-stars Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni.
The filing of the celebrated author’s bestselling book Verity has recently begun featuring Anne Hathaway and Josh Hartnett as the lead roles.
As per reports, the Devil Wears Prada star has been casted as Verity Crawford. On the other hand, Josh is set to play her husband Jeremy Crawford.
The striking duo was recently spotted shooting for the upcoming film on Thursday in New York City.
It is important to note that the psychosexual thriller, Verity features the story of a struggling author Lowen Ashleigh which will be played by Dakota Johnson.
She is hired by Jeremy Crawford to complete his wife Verity’s incomplete book series. Lowen then comes across a troubling manuscript, raising concern about Verity’s past.
For the unversed, Colleen last made headlines due to the success of It Ends with Us, however the celebrations took a shocking turn when Blake accused her co-star Justin of sexual harassment, a hostile work environment and defamation.
In response, the 41-year-old actor denied all accusations and filed a lawsuit of his own, claiming defamation.
Despite this long-draw-out controversy, Verity continues filming with its renowned cast, leaving fans excited.
