Colleen Hoover appears to be stepping away from the ongoing legal drama between It Ends With Us stars Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni.
The bestselling author, whose novel inspired the highly anticipated film, had been noticeably absent from Instagram for a while. However, fans quickly spotted a major change upon her return—she has quietly removed photos featuring both Lively and Baldoni from her profile.
Eagle-eyed fans noticed that while Hoover has erased most movie-related content, she kept a few select posts, including early casting announcements and a fan appreciation post.
While tensions between Lively and Baldoni had been simmering long before the lawsuit, Hoover had previously shown support for Lively during the film's promotion. At the time, Baldoni—who directed and starred in the film—was notably absent from press appearances.
Hoover further fuelled speculation when she shared a link to The New York Times article covering Lively’s legal complaint. In it, Lively accused Baldoni of body-shaming, sexual harassment, and other misconduct.
Though the author has not directly commented on the situation, her social media cleanup suggests she may be distancing herself from the drama—or at least taking a more neutral stance as tensions continue to escalate.
