Ana De Armas is maybe the ‘Best Actress’ in a motion picture.
One of the actors enjoying their Golden Globes nomination is Ana de Armas. De Armas was nominated for Best Actress in a Motion Picture for her performance as Marilyn Monroe in Blonde when the illustrious list of performers was unveiled on Monday.
"What an incredible surprise", she captioned a collection of pictures she posted on Instagram while holding a bouquet of flowers to thank the Golden Globes.
On the Ballerina set, the Cuban-Spanish actress learned that she had been nominated.
“There’s nothing better than receiving and celebrating the big news with the crew on set,” she wrote.
It appears that she is using the same hair and makeup artists from Blonde for Ballerina. She wrote that it was "amazing" to be working with Jaime Leigh and Roesler Kerwin again in a photo with the Emmy Award nominees.
“This recognition goes to them too because they killed it in #Blonde. THANK YOU!” She also tagged the film’s director, Andrew Dominik.
Along with de Armas, Cate Blanchett, Olivia Colman, Viola Davis, Michelle Williams, and The Woman King are the other actresses nominated for their roles in Tár, Empire of Light, and The Fabelmans, respectively.
