Ariana Grande, who is known for her chart-topping hit tracks, was called out for something her father was spotted promoting.
The 32-year-old singer has been teasing her new album Petal which is scheduled to be coming out on July 31, 2026.
However, the Grammy winner made the headlines after fans spotted her father Ed Butera following some MAGA accounts on his social media.
President Donald Trump was also reportedly present in his following list, which sparked considerable buzz online.
One of the X users was of the opinion: “Wait until folks find out what her mom does for a living,” while another netizen noted: “But it’s safe to say Ari is not like her parents.”
Another netizen claimed that the musician was also following in his footsteps, calling her out for being “performative” for her fans.
However, many supported the Everyday hitmaker with a user questioning: “Why are we dragging Ari into it when she has no control over this.”
While it appears that the graphic designer has a shift in his political beliefs, the No Tears Left To Cry crooner has been vocal about her criticisms on Donald Trump and his policies.
She is all set to release her much-anticipated studio record after wrapping up her Wicked franchise era.
