Blake Lively has been called out for seemingly walking the red carpet of Met Gala without being invited to the event.
The 38-year-old actress wore a pastel Atelier Versace gown for the prestigious ceremony, making headlines after settling the lawsuit with Justin Baldoni.
During an interview, the It Ends With Us shared that she requested the designer to allow her “kids’ art.” She claimed that each of her four children “painted a painting.”
Explaining the details about the dress, the Hollywood A-list star admitted feeling honoured to be wearing the piece from 2006 which “[looked] like a sunrise.”
The bag is originally by Judith Leiber which was added to the look as they were looking for an “iconic art to put on.”
However, the online community were not convinced by the explanation. One of the X users slammed Blake for being “Queen of lies.”
Another netizen called out the Gossip Girl alum: “She’s not going to melt our hearts with her made-up sob story.” While a third added: “Oh God the lies with this woman will never end.”
It is to be noted that it remains unclear whether the Another Simple Favor actress actually honoured her children with the accessory.
The most talked about topic was the star appearing at the event hours after headlines about her lawsuit settlement dominated the internet.
Months after feuding with her director, Blake and Justin have finally put an end to the legal crossfire that ended up being complicated with other complaints as well.
