Rachel Zegler 'mocks' Hunter Schafer childhood trauma in latest post

Rachel Zegler and Hunter Schafer have maintained a close friendship after bonding on the set of The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds.

It appears that the 25-year-old actress’ recent comment crossed a line as it was deemed insensitive by many online.

Hunter turned to her social media and shared some rare snaps of her Met Gala look which caught Rachel’s attention.

The Snow White star wrote in the comment section: “And it’s like. They all used to scream pretty face at her” which was seemingly taken down later.

She also penned down another remark, “PRETTY FACE PRETTY FACE,” referring to the Euphoria star’s childhood trauma she shared.

The Cuckoo actress earlier opened up about facing isolation at an early age when other children used to follow her and call her pretty face.

This was during the phase in Hunter’s life when she was questioning herself on important aspects.

Despite it being an appreciation as one of the X users pointed: “I don’t get it is that not a compliment.”

Another netizen was of the opinion that the Hollywood star’s comment is “so meannnn like Hunter literally opened up about how she was bullied viciously in school.”

The 27-year-old is yet to respond to the comment under her social media post and the ongoing backlash at her friend.
