Chris Brown, who faced multiple accusations of misconduct and legal issues, has announced his new album BROWN.

The 37-year-old singer turned to his social media and unveiled the star-studded collaborators from the music industry.

However, Chris was mocked by the online community as he shared an album artwork which carried an old school essence with his picture in the centre.

A netizen slammed the update for looking “like those thumbnails for the AI generated ‘soul covers’ of these artists you find on YouTube.”

Another admitted that they “found this disrespectful” as it was artificially generated, while a third joked that the Under The Influence songmaker is someone “that uses AI wrong all the time.”

The musician introduced all the collaborations on his project, including NBA YoungBoy, Leon Thomas, Tank, Vybz Kartel, GloRilla, Bryson Tiller, Fridayy, Sexyy Red and Lucky Daye.

Despite all the backlash, fans have high hope for the song Call Your Name which features Sexyy Red.

Why was Chris Brown boycotted?

This came after Chris was called out and boycotted by many for arrest and charged in 2025 due to a Nightclub incident for bodily harm.

He has had a history of legal troubles which included physically assaulting her then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009.

The incident unfolded after a pre-Grammy party which resulted in facial injuries.
