Elton John, Britney Spears rendition of Tiny Dancer gets official title

Britney Spears and Elton John's highly anticipated duet finally has an official title.

The upcoming duet will be a brand-new rendition of John’s 1971 song, Tiny Dancer, and will be officially titled, Hold Me Closer.

The news was confirmed by reps for both artists on Monday.

Artwork for the track has also been released which consists of the title, a rose (Britney), and a rocket (Elton).

According to Billboard, famous producer Andrew Watt will oversee the single.

The collaboration would mark Spears’ first return to making music since her conservatorship was terminated in November 2021, and her first new release since 2016’s Glory album.
