Benedict Cumberbatch struggles to decipher Ariana Grande's lyrics

Star Benedict Cumberbatch tried and failed at getting a hang of singer Ariana Grande’s words while singing.

During an appearance at the Unpopular Opinion show with Greg James, a listener called in to say she can never understand Grande’s singing.

To this the Doctor Strange actor agreed saying, "I know what you mean, and I feel my 45 years sometimes when I listen to a song going, ‘Yeah, I wonder if there’s a lyric sheet I can get online because I can’t understand a word."

One of Grande’s songs titled Problem was then played on the show with the words, "I should be wiser, and realise that I’ve got one less problem without ya." 

Cumberbatch guessed what Ariana meant and revealed, "Something about a cat in an elevator." 

Despite all the real struggle, the star thinks Grande is raw talent and is an extraordinary vocalist.
