On Saturday, Mark Curry took to Instagram and shared the heartbreaking news that rapper Black Rob has passed away at the age of 51 after being hospitalized for multiple medical problems.

Curry posted a video on photo-sharing platform in which he said, “Rob passed away about an hour ago, I don’t know where to begin, but I thank everybody for the donations.”

He added, “We’ve lost a lot [of] legends and we can’t afford to lose anymore.”

Rob also known as Robert Ross was famous for his 2000 super hit Whoa.

Last week, Mark shared GoFundMe page in order to support Ross and “find a home, pay for medical help & stability during these trying times.”
