Pope Francis delivers emotional Easter vigil on post-pandemic rebirth: ‘Never lose hope’

The sovereign of the Vatican City State Pope Francis recently issued a heart breaking Easter vigil in light of the dark times plaguing the world, all with the intention that people rediscover “the grace of everyday life.”

In his speech his Holiness marked the ninth Easter season with a renewed sense of hope and was quoted saying, “It is always possible to begin anew because there is a new life that God can awaken in us in spite of all our failures"

He also touched upon the plight of all those struggling on the fringes of society and reminded people of the power of love by claiming, "In these dark months of the pandemic, let us listen to the Risen Lord as he invites us to begin anew and never lose hope" and care for “those struggling to live from day to day."
