Cardi B is 'finally free' after settling $15m lawsuit with ex-manager

Cardi B's long overdue legal battle with ex-manager Shaft has finally met its end.

In 2018, Shaft sued the rapper for $10 million, claiming Cardi B had out thrown him after her success with Bodak Yellow. The manager also mentioned that he felt betrayed, especially after being the first one who discovered.

Cardi B on the other hand countered with a $15 million lawsuit, claiming the contract she signed with him way back when was incredibly unfair and way too one-sided. According to her, Shaft literally controlled her life and even her dating choices like ex-husband Offset.

The feud remained unresolved for another two years until yesterday when the rapper announced she finally settled her differences with her ex-manager.

"Feels good to be free," she wrote on her Instagram.
