Coronavirus: CDC releases guidelines for how to shop safely on Black Friday

This year’s black Friday would not be the same. Let's have a look at what retailers are planning for the shopping holiday as coronavirus cases keep on increasing.

US citizens are being asked to stay at their homes on Thanksgiving, and they would also have to rethink about participating in shopping on black Friday.

As per the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, large gatherings should be avoided during the annual holidays.

According to CDC, crowds in shopping malls is a very high risk activity and people should instead shop online on Black Friday.

Moreover, CDC has recommended people to prefer contactless services or curbside pickup and also consider shopping in open markets. CDC further suggested that standard precautions should be followed and shoppers should maintain 6-feet distance from everyone.
