Barack Obama reveals he is petrified of daughter Sasha

Former US president Barack Obama made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live and revealed interesting details about his family life.

While promoting his book The Promised Land, Obama confessed he is scared of daughter Sasha. He describes his house as a set of factions where he and daughter Malia face fierce competition from wife Michelle and younger daughter Sasha.

"Malia is more like me temperamentally. We call ourselves the long faces, because her face is more shaped like mine," Obama said of his 22-year-old daughter during

"The round faces are Michelle and Sasha," Obama said while referring to his wife and their 19-year-old daughter.

"The round faces are a fiercer tribe. We’re like the vegetarians, the gatherers, and they're the hunters. We try to keep the peace with them," Obama added in laughs.

When host Jimmy Kimmel asked if Obama was scared of Sasha, as once pointed out by his former First Lady Michelle, Obama was quick to respond.

"Yes. And the reason is because Sasha is a mini-Michelle. And I am afraid of Michelle. And Sasha, having seen that, basically has the same look and the same attitude," said Obama.

Obama, 59, also revealed his daughters have no interest in reading his book. They joke about having to do more important things in life.

"You are never a prophet in your own land. Their attitude is, we've got better things to do than read your boring rants and raves," he concluded.
