Chris Hemsworth has recently revealed the first glimpse of his upcoming crime thriller movie, Kockroach.
Taking to Instagram on April 14, the Australian actor shares behind-the-scene images from his first day of the shoot.
The first picture features Chris character looking mysterious as he dons a suit with black sunglasses and holds a cigarette in one hand.
In the second picture, the Crime101 star is seen reviewing his dailies from the day on a movie set, giving an insight into his character.
Captioning the post, Chris writes, “Kockroach. Day 1.”
Directed by Matt Ross and written by Jonathan Ames, the movie is an adaptation of the 2007 novel of the same name.
According to the plotline, the forthcoming movie is the “story of a of a mysterious stranger who takes on New York’s criminal underworld, transforming himself into a larger-than-life crime boss in a city where power is everything”.
Besides Chris, other cast includes Alec Baldwin, Rachel Sennott, Taron Egerton and Zazie Beetz. A release date has not been confirmed until now.
Meanwhile, Chris is quite happy with the success of his thriller, Crime101 movie, as he took to X, formerly Twitter, and shares his verdict.
“Crime101 is number1 on @PrimeVideo!! Appreciate all the love and support for this movie,” he writes.
