Margot Robbie has dropped fresh details on the Ocean’s Eleven prequel, offering a first glimpse at the film during Warner Bros.’ CinemaCon 2026 event in Las Vegas on April 14.
The Barbie actress shared the project through a promotional video, explaining that it is set long before the original heists.
According to Variety, she stated, “Before Danny Ocean ever stepped foot in Vegas, two masterminds taught him everything he knows — his parents.”
She added, “You’ll see them in their prime, and in our new movie, pulling off an epic heist at the 1962 Monaco Grand Prix.”
Meanwhile, she is attached to both star in and produce the film, teaming up with Bradley Cooper, who is also being lined up to direct after previous directors exited the project.
The pair are expected to take on the roles of Danny Ocean’s parents, originally played by George Clooney in the main trilogy.
At CinemaCon, Warner Bros. set the prequel’s release date for June 25, 2027, with filming scheduled to kick off later this year.
Additionally, the studio revealed that another Ocean’s Eleven sequel starring the original cast is in early development.
