Hollywood heartthrob Tom Cruise is all set to save the world once again with his upcoming movie, Digger.

The Top Gun actor collaborates with Alejandro G. Iñárritu for their dark comedy as Warnes Bros teases its first look during the studio’s Las Vegas presentation on April 14.

Tom describes the new movie as “ne plus ultra,” adding, “This kind of movie is why I want to make movies.”

At the event, the Mission: Impossible actor also praises the movie-maker Alejandro, saying, “The movie is wild, it’s funny... I cannot wait for you all to see it.”

After attending the event, Tom turns to Instagram on Tuesday and posts three pictures of himself alongside his movie director, sharing his thoughts about his enthralling experience.

“I had a lot of fun at CinemaCon seeing so many friends,” writes the 63-year-old in the caption.

Jack Reacher actor notes that this year “has already gotten off to a great start for cinema,” and he’s “looking forward to all the films still to come in the year ahead from countless hardworking and talented artists!”

“Today, my dear friend Alejandro G. Iñárritu and I had a blast sharing our sneak peek of DIGGER,” says Tom.

In the end, the action star reveals the month of this forthcoming movie's theatrical release.

“We cannot wait to share this film with the world in October and to be part of what is going to be such a special year at the movies!” concludes Tom.

For those unaware, Digger Rockwell (plays by Tom) is a bald, big-bellied industrialist who meets a doctor for his cat, and later he’s told that the cat has either “two weeks or five minutes” to live in the trailer.
