Dylan O’Brien has signed on a new movie with Hudson Williams.
The Heated Rivalry star and Send Help actor has been cast as leads in new psychological thriller, Apparatus, from a Canadian writer-director Sofia Banzhaf.
According to Deadline, the project is set to begin filming in Toronto soon.
As per People magazine, the story follows, "a struggling ride-share driver, Tyler, who believes his fortunes have changed when he encounters JP, a charismatic entrepreneur."
He offers lead character Tyler "a dream opportunity" that soon slips out of his grasp.
The logline of the movie reads, "JP lures Tyler in with the promise of a dream opportunity, but the arrangement soon descends into a violent downward spiral, testing the protagonist’s limits."
Williams will portray Tyler, with O'Brien portraying JP in the movie, described as a "taut psychological thriller."
Apparatus marks one of Williams' first projects since Heated Rivalry skyrocketed him to fame.
In months since the show became popular, the Canadian actor has been cast in another series, Yaga alongside The Matrix star Carrie-Anne Moss.
Meanwhile, O’Brien is fresh off his performance in Send Help opposite to Rachel McAdams.
In addition to Apparatus, he is next set to appear in another movie, Being Heumann, an adaptation of disability activist Judy Heumann's memoir.
