Zendaya candidly spoke about the deep connection between love and grief and how it shaped her personal growth.

The Euphoria star, described how life’s inevitable heartbreaks are intertwined with its deepest joys.

While sitting down with Robert Pattinson at the Interview Magazine, she opened up about her favourite romantic movies.

"To what you’re saying, they are often devastating, and that's just the nature of being alive," she said.

The Spider-Man actress added, "A lot of them have to do with loss, and something I’ve learned as I’ve gotten older is that so much of life is loss—losing people you love and grieving and getting through that, so in some weird way, love and loss go hand in hand."

The Dune star also mused on the open-ended nature of relationships, noting, "But there is no ending. Who knows if in 10 years they’re unhappy and divorced? I guess it’s all the same movie, you’re just picking up at a different point in people’s lives."

The interview came ahead of her upcoming projects, including recent collaborations with Pattinson in The Drama and in shared work like Dune: Part Three and The Odyssey.

The Drama is releasing on April 3, The Odyssey on July 17 and Dune: Part Three on July 31.
