Paul Mescal and Gracie Abrams made a rare public appearance at the premiere of Paul McCartney documentary screening, Man on the Run.

Mescal donned a casual outfit with a baseball cap and a long grey coat as he cosied with Abrams, who also wore a cap and an oversized black blazer with a pink corsage on it.

The documentary centres on McCartney's life in the 1970s following the contentious breakup of the Beatles and includes his music success throughout the decade with the group Wings.

The film is directed by Oscar-winning filmmaker Morgan Neville.

The Here Comes the Sun hitmaker, expressed his gratitude to the filmmaker, as he quipped, "I want to say thank you to Morgan for keeping all the embarrassing moments in that I asked him to take out. He’s made a good film, so thank you, Morgan."

In addition to his documentary, the Hamnet actor is star to star him in Sam Mendes' forthcoming The Beatles — A Four-Film Cinematic Event, which is currently in production in the U.K.

The studio will release four movies in April 2028, with each film focusing on a member of the Fab Four.

The cast includes, Harris Dickinson as John Lennon, Joseph Quinn as George Harrison and Barry Keoghan as Ringo Starr.
